The book of Proverbs describes three types of people. Which one are you?
The first one is the wise man. This is the person who listen to what God says in the Bible and applies it to their life. This person will choose to do what is right and avoid doing things that God says not to do. Much harm and destruction will be avoided by the wise man.
The second one is the foolish man. This is the person who rejects and opposes the things God says in the Bible. The Bible says “the fool has said in his heart there is no God.” Not obeying God in reality is saying there is no God. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The consequences of rejection God and His Word is experienced both here and in eternity.
The third person is the simple man. This person is naive and unaware of the things of God. Those who are wise are to help this person understand the Word of God. Our mission in the church is to teach people who God is and how we can know Him and become a wise person.
Seek to be a person who accepts Christ to be their Savior and follows the Word of God.
(Psalms 1:1)Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
(Psalms 1:2)But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
