Achievement
(1 Corinthians 15:10) But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Anything we have achieved in life it is by the grace of God. It is all too easy to take credit for our successes. If we have great talent, it is because God gave us talent. If we have great intellect, it is because God gave it to us. If we have great strength, it is because God gave it to us. As we mature in our Christian faith, we learn that anything good we accomplished was accomplished through God’s grace and strength. Let us not be taken in by the world’s philosophy that we can achieve anything outside of God. Anything we do that will last and have eternal rewards will come through God. That’s Heaven’s perspective on achievement.
